FUNK HYDRAULIC PUMP DRIVES
Funk Pump Drives are designed on a modular concept.
This allows you the flexibility of applying Funk drives to numerous design needs.
There are four model series available with horsepower capabilities up to 950 SAE hp (708
kW) for each driven pump.
Funk Drives offer a variety of gear ratios and hydraulic pump adapters to match your
hydraulic system. They are equipped to operate from an independent mount, direct engine
mount or as clutch driven units. Adapters are available for a wide variety of engine
housings and flywheel sizes.
The modular design also allows for easy adaption to numerous pump selections.
Series 6100
This series contains eight models of small, high performance, double and triple pump
drives. 355 lb,-ft. * (481 Nm) (max) input torque. Available SAE pump sizes A, B, and C.
Series 28000
Single, double, and triple hydraulic pump drives. Quiet efficient spur type gears with a
wide choice of ratios. Up to 650lb,-ft.* (881 Nm ) (max) input torque. Available SAE pump
sizes A, B, C, and D.
Series 59000
This series is capable of driving 2, 3, or 4 hydraulic pumps from a single unit. Up to
1,250 lb,-ft. * (1694Nm) (max) input torque. Available SAE pump sizes A, B, C, and D. Available with Air Clutch option.
Series 56000
For bigger horsepower applications. Provides 2, 3, 4, or 5 pump drives with up to 2,000
lb,-ft. * (2710 Nm ) (max) input torque. Available SAE pump sizes D, E, and F.

Air Clutch
Driven Hydraulic Pump Drives
The Air Clutch is the superior choice for clutch input on hydraulic pump drives. The
advantages over standard mechanical clutches are longer operating life reducing
maintenance, repair, and losses due to downtime. Air clutches are less prone to wear
due to vibration, and damage during disengagement.
The construction of the Air Clutch automatically compensates for minor misalignment.
The design of the Air Clutch enables complete disengagement, isolating vibrations for
extended periods of time. The design of the Air Clutch makes it very simple to operate it
using remote control. The unit is completely enclosed enabling safe operation. The minimum
of moving parts ( no pilot bearing or lubrication required) minimises maintence.
