Funk Hydraulic Motor Shaft Brakes
Funk manufactures two sizes of Spring Applied Pressure Released brakes suitable for
parking brake holding brake applications. When hydraulic pressure drops below 400 PSI the
actuator spring engages the brake... to hold or maintain tension on a load. As soon as
hydraulic pressure is sufficient to overcome the spring rate, the brake disengages. They
are designed for hydraulic system pressures of up to 5 000 PSI.
The brakes come in a C output size to suit an SAE C size hydraulic motor input or a D size
to suit an SAE D size hydraulic motor input.
